Open Positions:

Restaurant Server: Provides warm, professional and comprehensive food and beverage service to the patrons of the Spoonbread Restaurant, situated in the AAA Four-Diamond Westin Poinsett Hotel. Promote future success of restaurant through ensuring a dining experience which exceeds expectations and drives both rave reviews and return visits. (Restaurant – Full-time)

Evening Laundry Supervisor: Directs, supervises, and actively participates in the operation of the hotel laundry. Promotes a safe environment and quality service to both internal and external guests of The Westin Poinsett. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Previous hotel laundry experience preferred. Supervisory experience required. (Laundry Department – Full-time) 

AM Line Cook: Responsible for producing both beautiful and tasty food for our restaurant guests. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of one-year breakfast line experience in restaurant or full-service hotel. Culinary Department. Full-time.

AM Room Service Server: Responsible for set-up, delivery and retrieval of all food and beverage orders to guest rooms while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards. Must be willing able to provide energy and enthusiasm in early mornings and on weekends. Part-time.

Banquet Servers: Responsible for the set-up, delivery of service and breakdown of formal banquet functions. Must be able to complete all duties in a professional, courteous, and safe manner. Previous serving experience preferred. (Banquets Department, On-Call.)

Guest Room Attendant: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards in guest rooms of area’s finest hotel. Requires ability to work quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly, so that rooms are completed perfectly and available to guests in a timely manner. (Housekeeping, Full-Time.)

Guest Service Agent: Responsible for the friendly and efficient Welcome and Farewell of guests at the Westin Poinsett Hotel. Must politely and effectively respond to guest inquiries and/or challenges in a professional, courteous manner. Previous experience at full-service hotel desk preferred. (Front Desk, Full-Time)

Restaurant Host/Hostess: Responsible for providing a warm, welcoming greeting to guests and patrons of the Spoonbread Restaurant, while ensuring that they are seated promptly and attentively. Assists in creating a positive, memorable dining experience through the presentation of great hospitality. Previous experience in upscale dining environment preferred. (Restaurant, Full-time)

Bellman/Service Express Attendant: Performs duties of bellman, valet and shuttle driver in historic, southern hotel. Requires welcoming smile, willingness to assist, can-do attitude, current driver's license with clean driving record, and ability to lift 60 lbs. Must be 21 years of age. Previous experience as bellman in full-service hotel preferred. (Bell Stand, Full time)

Restaurant Attendant: Responsible for the efficient clearing and setting of tables in the Spoonbread Restaurant, in order to allow guests to be seated without delay. Assists service staff in creating a positive, memorable dining experience with tireless effort and a warm and friendly demeanor. Previous experience in upscale dining environment preferred. (Restaurant, Full time)

Hotel Maintenance: Performs preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on hotel structure and equipment (including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, HVAC, electrical). Responds to guest requests in a courteous, expeditious manner. Previous experience in hotel engineering department preferred. (Engineering, Full-time)

Event Staff/Banquets: Responsible for the set-up, delivery of service and break down of formal banquet functions. Must be able to complete all duties in a professional, courteous, and safe manner. Previous serving experience preferred. (Banquets Department, On-Call)
